I am an associate professor in the Department of Biophysics at the University of Pecs, Faculty of Medicine. My interests range from the elasticity and dynamics of the cytoskeletal system to protein folding, single-molecule mechanics and nanotechnology. I am honored to lead a recently established Nanobiotechnology and Single Molecule Biophysics Laboratory, where I am surrounded by talented students and colleagues. My aim is to gain a better understanding of the phenomenon we call life through the ocular of single biomolecules, and to spread this knowledge as best and as gently as possible. I am accompanied by a precious wife and five bright and loving children, who make all my efforts worthwile and filled with joy.
