Angéla Jedlovszy-Hajdú received Hugonnai Vilma Award

The Hugonnai Vilma memorial prize — which recognizes the outstanding work of female educators, researchers, and medical practitioners at the university — was awarded this year to Dr. Angéla Jedlovszky-Hajdú, associate professor at the Semmelweis University Institute of Biophysics and Radiobiology and head of the Laboratory of Nanochemistry research group. Throughout her career, she has researched the biomedical applications of biocompatible nanosystems; her pioneering work is significant in the fields of MRI contrast agents, artificial tissues, wound dressings, and magnetic hyperthermia. Additionally, she is deeply committed to talent development.
