Our group was established in 2024 with the support of the HUN-REN Welcome Home and Foreign Researcher Recruitment Programme. Our research focuses on nanoscale biologically important molecules and particles. Primarily, we investigate the mechanical and fusion properties of extracellular vesicles released by cells. Additionally, we study the impact of cellular molecular crowding on the formation of protein fibrils involved in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, as well as breast cancer development.

Research areas

Formation of protein fibrils from milk proteins in a molecularly crowded environment.

Molecular dynamics and quantuum chemical investigation of thylakoid membranes.
