The course will be held in the Szent-Györgyi lecture hall during the first four Mondays (19:35 - 21:05) and Fridays (16:10 - 17:30) of the semester.
Important: passing the closing test from the course material is mandatory for all medical students. Passing the test is a requirement for obtaining a signature in Medical Biophysics I.
Therefore, we recommend it to every student to attend this course, as it will help in preparing for the mandatory test and for studies in Medical Biophysics.
Closing test of the course: 7th of October. Time and location to be anounced later.

The aim of the subject is to remedy the deficiencies in the education of mathematics and physics in secondary schools, and to provide the background knowledge necessary for the Biophysics subject.

in Szent-Györgyi lecture hall for groups EM1-EM8
in Hevesy lecture hall for groups EM 9, 10, 13 and 14
in Békésy lecture hall for groups EM 12, 15, 16 and 18,
in the lecture hall of 1st Department of Surgery (Üllői str. 78) for groups EM 11, 17 and 19.
The duration of test is 1 hour.
The following constants should be known for the calculations: Avogadro number, light velocity, gravity. The other constants will be given.
One should prepare from the manual available on the homepage and from the lecture notes.
There will be 34 questions. Correct answer: +3 points, incorrect answer: -1 point, no answer: 0 point.
In order to pass one has to achieve 50 points.
The time and place of retake and re-retake will be announced later.
